The Story
Elegantly handcrafted with inspirations from the traditional riding boot, the bestselling La Vallée in flawless suede has a sleek and sophisticated appeal. Named after the JC Le Roux's La Vallée Method Cap Classique served on arrival at the Van Velze wedding, this boot is the classy starting point and polished finishing touch to any outfit.
The La Vallée is constructed with a leather lining and elastic insert around the calf for superior comfort and durability. Its elegant frame is handcrafted with the finest Spanish suede to ensure that the leather moulds to your feet and does not sag at your ankles. The addition of our signature brilliant curve around the topline and traditional Cuban heel gives a unique spin that guarantees you'll stand out from the crowd. Characterised by an outward facing, full length zip and tassel for practicality, this exquisite boot is endlessly charming.
Care & Repair
Whilst every mark on your VVS boots tells a story, caring for your boots is still important, so that when they’re perfectly moulded to your feet, they are still in great condition.
Boot Care
Suede boots can generally be cleaned by lightly rubbing them with a damp, lint-free cloth or specialist suede brush. Straight motions in different directions are advised to help remove dirt and salt without pushing them deeper into the fibres.
Unlike leather, suede can be easily ruined by water, which causes stains on its surface that are generally irreparable. Use a waterproofing spray after cleaning your boots to allow them to retain their water resistance. It is important to do this frequently to prevent stains, resist scratches, and keep the suede supple.

I used these boots for a Van Velze & Smith aprils fools day shoot. Loved them so much I bought my own pair the next day. The elastic panel on the back ensures the perfect around my calves and I can wear these in the summer or tuck my jeans in.
