The Story
Discovered in South Africa in 1905, the Cullinan is the largest rough diamond to be found. It was gifted to British King Edward VII on his 66th birthday and is still one of the finest additions to King Charles III’s private gem collection. This beautifully handcrafted shoe in flawless suede symbolises the union of African heritage and British craftsmanship.
The Cullinan elegantly merges precious raw material with meticulous human artistry to handcraft a classy shoe with exquisite finishings inside and out. Its thicker synthetic sole and stacked wooden heel ensures longevity as well as uncompromising comfort. Constructed with an inward facing zip fastener, a Yearling leather strip on the seam of the heel, and our signature brilliant curve around the topline, the Cullinan boasts an ultimate refined finish.
Cuban Heel
The Cuban heel is characterised by its slightly curved back, straight front, and medium height. It first made an appearance in Persia in the 9th century, but the most current design originated in 20th century England and has become an iconic feature in its own right. Its durability, stability, and style have made it a popular choice of heel across many professions.
Care & Repair
Whilst every mark on your VVS boots tells a story, caring for your boots is still important, so that when they’re perfectly moulded to your feet, they are still in great condition.
Boot Care
Suede boots can generally be cleaned by lightly rubbing them with a damp, lint-free cloth or specialist suede brush. Straight motions in different directions are advised to help remove dirt and salt without pushing them deeper into the fibres.
Unlike leather, suede can be easily ruined by water, which causes stains on its surface that are generally irreparable. Use a waterproofing spray after cleaning your boots to allow them to retain their water resistance. It is important to do this frequently to prevent stains, resist scratches, and keep the suede supple.
