A Heartfelt Look Back at 2024

As 2024 comes to an end, I’ve been reflecting on what an incredible year it’s been for Van Velze & Smith. There’s so much to celebrate, and I wanted to share some highlights with you personally.

Memorable Summer Moments

This summer was unforgettable. We had an amazing time at the Scottish Game Fair in June, and then at the Game Fair at Blenheim Palace. Meeting so many of you, hearing your stories, and sharing our journey was truly special. These events aren’t just business for us—they’re moments of connection and joy.

A Dream Collaboration

One of the most exciting milestones this year was launching our collaboration with Homewood Spa and Hotel. Seeing our products featured in such a beautiful space was a dream come true. If you’re looking for a bit of indulgence, it’s well worth a visit—we’re so proud to be part of their offering.

A New Chapter for Me

2024 also marked a major personal change. After years of balancing rugby and Van Velze & Smith, I’ve finally retired from the sport. No more recovering from bruising Saturday matches before getting back to orders! Now, I can dedicate myself fully to our business. It’s been an incredible transition, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve with this renewed focus.

It’s All About the Journey

This year has reminded me that our dream is not just about reaching the summit but about every step along the way. The challenges, the sacrifices, and yes, even the tough days are part of what makes this journey so meaningful. We’re building something we truly love, and having you along for the ride makes it all the more rewarding.

2025 is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see what it brings. We’re dreaming big, working hard, and ready to take on new adventures. Thank you for being part of our journey. Your support means everything to us, and we couldn’t do this without you.
